Alycia Pyle- Academy Manager

Alycia was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been married to her husband, James since 2012 and they have four children together. Alycia and her family relocated to McMinnville, Oregon in 2021 after wanting a change for their family. Shortly after moving, her two older sons decided to give Jiu Jitsu a try and she says, “it has been the best thing that ever happened to our family! They have gained so much confidence, knowledge, friends, and ultimately a sense of belonging at Impact. Jiu Jitsu has truly given us more than we ever expected, and the community has become family. I sat in the lobby watching my boys’ classes for two years, seeing their growth week after week. When the opportunity to work at Impact Jiu Jitsu opened, I was so excited thinking of the shift from being a spectator to being help within the community. To any parent wondering if jiu jitsu is right for your child- give it a try and see how excited your child is to walk into that building and bow onto the mats. The jiu jitsu journey may start out as a fun extracurricular activity, but it may turn into their greatest passion where they strive to become a black belt, being mentored by some of the best coaches they could ever ask for. When asked what advice Julianna would give to a parent curious about our programs, she said, “sign your kid up today, you won’t regret it, neither will they! It will boost their confidence and make you feel good about yourself.”
